The Family Circle is the free community every patient at our Encinitas practice belongs to automatically, insured or not. It is how we take care of the people we see: priority when you have an emergency, a calm and comfortable visit, and a team that knows you by name. There is nothing to buy and nothing to sign up for.
What does belonging give you?
How do you join the Family Circle?
You are already in. Every patient belongs to the Family Circle from their first visit, automatically. It is free, there is nothing to sign, and it is never something you earn through referrals or buy your way into. Belonging here simply comes with being our patient.
What if I do not have dental insurance?
Belonging is free for everyone. If you do not have dental insurance, ask us about the McElroy Smile Membership, a separate paid plan that covers your preventive care at member fees. It is not insurance and not part of the Family Circle.
Is there a tier I can earn?
Yes. Inside the Family Circle is the Inner Circle, an earned recognition tier. It is never for sale and never earned through referrals. Read how it works on the Inner Circle page.

Yes. The Family Circle is open to everyone, with or without dental insurance. The separate McElroy Smile Membership is the paid plan built for patients who do not carry insurance, but belonging to the Family Circle is free for every patient either way.
No. Belonging is automatic and free, never earned by referring friends or family and never bought. The earned recognition tier inside it, the Inner Circle, is also never tied to referrals or reviews. It is earned through your own care.
