Agreement to these terms
These terms and conditions govern your use of the McElroy Smiles website at mcelroysmiles.com and our text message program. By using the site or opting in to text messages, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site or the messaging program.

This website and messaging program are operated by Greg McElroy DDS Inc, doing business as McElroy Smiles, a dental practice located at 700 Garden View Court, Suite 201, Encinitas, CA 92024. You can reach us by phone at (760) 621-8700, or by email at info@drmcelroy.com.
Use of this website
The content on this site is provided for general information about our practice and services. It is offered in good faith, and we update it as needed, though we do not guarantee that every detail is complete or current at all times.
Payments and fees
When you book certain visits online, you pay at checkout. The New Patient Visit is $200 and the Emergency Exam is $100. Each fee is credited toward enrollment in the McElroy Smile Membership at the Gold level, so what you pay is applied to your care and is not an added charge. By submitting payment, you authorize us, through our payment processor, to charge the card you provide for the amount shown. Payments are handled by a secure third-party payment processor, and we do not store your full card number. All prices are in United States dollars.
Cancellations and refunds
We ask for at least 24 hours notice to cancel or reschedule a paid visit. Because each fee is credited toward your care and your Gold membership enrollment, it is not lost if your plans change. With at least 24 hours notice, we apply your payment to your rescheduled visit. With less than 24 hours notice or a missed appointment, we hold your payment as a credit toward a future visit. If you believe a refund is warranted rather than a credit, contact us and we will review your request. To cancel, reschedule, or ask about a credit, call (760) 621-8700 or email info@drmcelroy.com.

Text messaging program
When you provide your phone number and give consent, McElroy Smiles may send you text messages. The messages you can expect include appointment reminders, confirmations, scheduling, and payment confirmations, and, only if you separately consent, occasional offers and updates. Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of any purchase or of becoming a patient.
How to opt out and get help
You can cancel the SMS service at any time. Just text STOP to (760) 621-8700. After you send the message STOP to us, we will send you a message to confirm that you have been unsubscribed. After this, you will no longer receive SMS messages from us. If you want to join again, just sign up as you did the first time and we will start sending messages to you again. Message frequency and rates
Message frequency varies based on your appointments and how you interact with us. Message and data rates may apply to any messages sent to you from us and to us from you. If you have questions about your text plan or data plan, it is best to contact your wireless provider.
Carrier liability
Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
Privacy

Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the date below. Your continued use of the site or the messaging program after a change means you accept the updated terms.
