Refund and Cancellation Policy
What this policy covers
This policy explains how payments, cancellations, refunds, and credits work for visits you book and pay for online with McElroy Smiles, operated by Greg McElroy DDS Inc. It works together with our Terms and Conditions and our Privacy Policy.
Paid visits and what your fee covers
Two visits are paid at checkout: the New Patient Visit at $200 and the Emergency Exam at $100. Each fee is credited toward enrollment in the McElroy Smile Membership at the Gold level, so what you pay is applied to your care and is not an added charge. Payments are handled by a secure third-party payment processor, and we do not store your full card number.
Cancellations and rescheduling
We ask for at least 24 hours notice to cancel or reschedule a paid visit. With at least 24 hours notice, we apply your payment to your rescheduled visit at no extra cost.
Late cancellations and missed appointments
If you cancel with less than 24 hours notice or do not show up, we hold your payment as a credit toward a future visit rather than treating it as lost. The credit stays available for you to use.
Refunds
Because each fee is credited toward your care and your Gold membership enrollment, it is generally kept as a credit rather than refunded. If you believe a refund is warranted instead of a credit, contact us and we will review your request. When a refund is issued, it is returned to the original payment method, and the time it takes to appear depends on your card or bank.
